Care for Your Fall Flora
As roots begin to grow again, this is another good time to provide tree nutrients as root uptake is enhanced. Fall brings another set of pests as cool season aphids such as conifer aphids get going again. Soil applied Japanese beetle applications are done in early fall as well as various borer sprays for succeeding generations. Iron treatments can only be done in fall to treat iron chlorosis problems.
A lawn winterizer application is recommended to provide turf grasses with the needed nutrient support to get through our harsh winters with as little damage as possible.
